The GLUG-Madurai mailing list is the primary place for discussion of all GLUG related topics. This is a friendly place where you can meet the members and get help with GNU/Linux and other Free Software. All discussion related to organizing of events and outreach programmes is held on the mailing list. If you want to get associated with the GLUG, this is the first place to join.

If you are new to mailing lists., please read "How To Ask Questions The Smart Way" by Eric Raymond. Also "RFC 1855" is a good read, and talks about "Netiquette Guidelines". This mailing list requires the adherence to the following guidelines:

  • Posts should have apt subject line
  • Off topic posts should have the '[ot]' tag
  • Commercial/job related posts should have the '[commercial]' tag
  • All followups should be strictly bottom posted
  • Trim your posts
